Meet the Coaches

Coach G12 brings passion, energy, and a competitive spirit to everything she does on and off the court. She began her coaching career four years ago and has quickly established herself as a dedicated leader committed to developing athletes both as volleyball players and as individuals.

A lifelong athlete, Coach G12 has participated in volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, track and field, and served as the Athletic Team Commander in ROTC leading over 300 cadets. Her diverse athletic background has shaped her coaching philosophy, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, leadership, and personal growth.

G12 graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources and a minor in Marketing. Her educational background, combined with her passion for athlete development, allows her to effectively mentor and guide young athletes toward success.

In addition to serving as Co-Director of Florida Legacy Volleyball, G12 is the Head JV Volleyball Coach and Head Varsity Beach Volleyball Coach at Central High School.

 

During the 2025-2026 season, she was honored as Hernando County's Assistant Coach of the Year, a recognition of her dedication, leadership, and positive impact on student-athletes.

She takes pride in building strong leaders, instilling confidence, and positively impacting the next generation both on and off the court.

Coach G12  believes that success is measured not only by wins and losses, but by the character, confidence, and leadership skills athletes develop throughout their journey.

When she's not coaching, G12 enjoys spending time with her family, spoiling her two dogs, Milo and Otis, boating, and enjoying her favorite treats —Popcorn or ice cream!

​

Coach G has dedicated her life to athletics, education, and developing athletes. She began playing volleyball at age 10 and competed in both school and club volleyball throughout her youth. A multi-sport athlete, she also played soccer from age 6 and basketball in middle and high school, earning Female Athlete of the Year as a freshman. Although a career-ending injury during her senior year ended her playing career, it sparked her passion for coaching.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in Community Psychology from the University of Massachusetts. She currently serves as a Special Education teacher and ESE Department Head, bringing a unique understanding of learning, motivation, and athlete development to her coaching. 

​

Coach G joined the coaching staff at Central High School in 2020 and became Varsity Head Coach in 2021. Under her leadership, the Bears have continued to grow, culminating in the program's best record in 15 years during the 2025 season. She is also the Assistant Varsity Beach Volleyball Coach and was the Varsity Girls Soccer coach for 3 seasons.

Coach G enjoys spending free time with her fiancé and 3 children, cooking, reading, and watching the 49ers, Indiana Fever, and Nebraska Volleyball.

Fun Fact: Coach G coached a Special Olympics Unified Croquet team to the State Championship in West Palm Beach, where one pair earned 1st Place, a reminder that success comes in many forms and that the relationships built through sports are often the most rewarding part of coaching.
